With a total complement of 3 000 employees, SECURICO is certainly the biggest employer amongst all the companies that participated in this year’s Best Employer Survey.
With such numbers one would expect a myriad of HR challenges but this survey showed that SECURICO is amongst the Top Ten companies in employee engagement. The company’s Employee Engagement Index is 61.25% which is 4.45 percentage points above the National Engagement Index of 56.80%.
Explaining this surprising achievement for a security organisation the Managing Director Mrs Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula says that successful organisations invariably invest a lot of time and resources in the development of work related relationships so that a greater percentage of employees are involved and are kin to achieve the strategic goals of the organisation.
