When SECURICO was founded in 1999, the founding directors insisted on the values that would create profit with integrity. This has since been entrenched in the SECURICO culture. With the company leadership’s observance of the fact that corporate governance is the engine for growth and that proper governance of the company is crucial to the nation’s economy, SECURICO embraced principles and values that guide the organization and the employees’ right from the onset.
The company is committed to corporate governance and best practice principles that focus on fairness, transparency, accountability, social responsibility, compliance and displine with all its stakeholders. Thus to this end, two years from its formation, SECURICO put in place a board of directors with the majority being non executive directors and chaired by a non executive director. The board of directors meets every quarter to review the strategic plans and chart the strategic direction of the business. SECURICO complies with all legal and statutory requirements and all employees are treated in accordance with statutory requirements.
